Considering enrolling your child in the Town’s Adventure Club preschool?
Attend an upcoming open house to learn all about what the programs have to offer.
Adventure Club offers school-year preschool and prekindergarten classes at the Castle Rock Recreation Center.
New this year is a five-day prekindergarten program. Previously, prekindergarten only was offered three days a week.
Now, pre-K classes – for children ages 4 and 5 – will be offered Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays from 9 to 11:45 a.m. or 12:30 to 3:15 p.m. or Monday through Friday from 12:30 to 3:15 p.m.
Preschool classes – for children ages 3 and 4 – will be offered Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 to 11:45 a.m. or 12:30 to 3:15 p.m.
A Feb. 22 open house will allow parents to tour the classrooms, meet the teachers, learn about the programs’ Zoo-phonics curriculum and more.
The open house will run from 6 to 8 p.m.
Registration for Adventure Club already is open and is first-come, first-served. Registration forms are available at the Recreation Center and online at CRgov.com/adventureclub.
Those with children currently in the program must participate in the registration process. Classes will run from September 2012 through May 2013.
Prospective participants who do not get a spot during registration will be placed on a waiting list. Castle Rock residents will be given priority over nonresidents.
Monthly preschool tuition is $130 for residents and $165 for nonresidents. Monthly pre-K tuition is $170 for residents and $205 for nonresidents for the three-day-a-week class and $285 ($325 nonresident) for the five-day. A nonrefundable $90 deposit is due upon registration.
