8th Annual Castle Rock WineFest 2011
The Colorado Wine Board has chosen Castle Rock once again as one of the sites for the 2011 Colorado Wine Festivals.
Monday, July 18th through Saturday July 23, 2011
Modern vineyards now feature the classic European wine grape varieties and once again the art of winemaking is thriving in Colorado. Most of these wineries are small, family-owned estates that have earned a well-deserved reputation for creating a wide variety of premium wines. From deep Merlots and expressive Chardonnays to elegant Rieslings and Cabernets, Colorado wines consistently win top national and international awards.
The ‘Urban Wineaux’

The ‘Urban Wineaux’ featuring exquisite hors d’oeuvres and wine pairing will kick off the festival on Monday evening. Presenting Winery: Allis Ranch Winery. Space is limited.
Augustine Grill Winemaker Dinner
An intimate Winemaker Dinner in the gardens of Augustine Grill. Presenting winery: Bookcliff Vineyards Winery will pair their wines with four courses. Space is limited.
Saturday, July 23rd Grand Tasting
A premier tasting event featuring 160 varietals from 28 Colorado wineries who will offer their vintage collections. Enjoy samplings of delicious cuisine paired with tastings of your new favorite wines. Enjoy wine seminars & demonstrations, artisans/lifestyle vendors and entertainment, all included in the price of your ticket. Back by popular demand, live Jazz music by Modazz.
Your ticket to Saturday’s Grand Tasting includes: wine tote, commemorative wine glass open tasting of showcased Colorado wineries/meaderies, demonstrations (view schedule here), lifestyle/artisan/culinary vendors, media appearances, celebrity cooking demonstrations and live musical entertainment.
Advance Tickets for Saturday’s Grand Tasting only are $27 through July 20th or $37 after July 20th. Purchasing of tickets are also available at the WineFest entrance on Saturday, July 23rd.
