Amazing Chalk Artists of All Ages Working Side-by-Side Creating Masterpieces
CHALK!-It’s not just for making hopscotch squares-
It’s not just for outside the house or on the playground anymore… That’s right! Chalk artists lining the sidewalks on Saturday, September 8 from 10 a.m. – 7 p.m. at the Streets At SouthGlenn. They might be professional or they might just be in elementary school. All are artists – no matter the age or skill level.

Hundreds of Chalk Artists, thousands of attendees, ACC staff and students, community members, children, adults, musicians, entertainers, and more!!
The Arapahoe Community College Foundation is having their 3rd annual Chalk It Up to Education Festival. Over 100 chalk artists from the Denver Metro area will be competing to be named the Overall Chalk Artist for 2012. THIS EVENT IS FREE TO ATTEND AND FREE FOR OUR ARTISTS.
Chalk artists are encouraged to create their own chalk art. Art may be a cartoon character, a 3D piece of art, a famous athlete, a Norman Rockwell inspired piece or any imaginary or pop culture creature.
There will be plenty of free activities for the whole family. Activities include using chalk for a variety of projects, making things to take home, an entertainment stage, and vendor booths all while enjoying the masterpieces on the sidewalk.
The evening will end with a special VIP event with elaborate hors d’ oeuvres and an open bar from the Ivy at the Glenn from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m. Tickets can be purchased athttps://eventsetc.webconnex.
