City of Lone Tree job openings for Police Officers

The City of Lone Tree is looking to fill two positions on the local police force

The first opening is for a police officer recruit:

Lone Tree Police Department at Park Meadows Mall The City of Lone tree is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer Recruit.  This position will be sponsored through a Colorado POST academy.  Upon successful completion of the academy, and the POST certification, the Recruit will be established as an entry level Officer.  Officers, under general supervision, perform a wide variety of police and law enforcement duties, including the protection of property, crime detection, and public safety. The successful candidate will identify and resolve City safety concerns and related issues through accountability, community interrelationships and customer focus. Duties are varied and broad in nature, including patrolling a designated area of the City to preserve law and order, answering routine and emergency calls for service, investigation of crime under the provisions of various federal, state and municipal laws, crime scene investigation, traffic enforcement, crime prevention, and public assistance.

 

Full Time – Non-Exempt
COMPENSATION: $17.00 hourly for Recruits. Upon successful completion of the academy and POST certification, the entry officer wage is $25.53 hourly.
