A Parker hometown tradition, the Parker Days Festival celebrates it’s 35 th year of creative community entertainment and
excitement, with many great new experiences for the over 100,000 people who will attend the event.
During the 2012 Festival we are excited to feature Gibbon Games Slackline Competition – it is the only one of its kind in the Denver Metro Area during the summer festival season – following its world debut on the Super Bowl half time show earlier this year. Over 20 of the best Slackline Competitors from around the world will be competing for a cash prize at Parker Days this year.
The event features four stages including the Main Stage which will host, among others, Phat Daddy, Hazel Miller, Chris Daniels and KYGO presents Gloriana. The secondary stage will include a street dance on Friday with Buckstein and Kory Brunson, a circus show on Saturday night followed by a DJ Dance party. The Community Stage will feature over 100 young artists from around the Parker area and the fourth stage is a Radio Disney Kids Stage.
Another kind of muscle will be flexing at the Strongman Competition where local athletes will truly test their limits in an awesome display of physical prowess. Last year competitors pulled a F350 down the street. If thrills are more your thing, then enjoy the newly enhanced carnival areas, brimming with all your favorite rides and treats, plus new attractions. If that wasn’t enough, there will three busker stations featuring mimes, stilt walkers, bubble blowers and other mind-blowing acts sure to delight young and old alike.
