Parker Days Summer Festival features Slackline competition and Gloriana

Over 100,000 to flock to Parker, Colorado for June 8-10 festival

A Parker hometown tradition, the Parker Days Festival celebrates it’s 35 th year of creative community entertainment and
excitement, with many great new experiences for the over 100,000 people who will attend the event.

beer tent parker days During the 2012 Festival we are excited to feature Gibbon Games Slackline Competition – it is the only one of its kind in the Denver Metro Area during the summer festival season – following its world debut on the Super Bowl half time show earlier this year. Over 20 of the best Slackline Competitors from around the world will be competing  for a cash prize at Parker Days this year.

The event features four stages including the Main Stage which will host, among others, Phat Daddy, Hazel Miller,  Chris Daniels and KYGO presents Gloriana. The secondary stage will include a street dance on Friday with Buckstein and Kory Brunson, a circus show on Saturday night followed by a DJ Dance party. The Community Stage will feature over 100 young artists from around the Parker area and the fourth stage is a Radio Disney Kids Stage.

Another kind of muscle will be flexing at the Strongman Competition where local athletes will truly test their limits in an awesome display of physical prowess. Last year competitors pulled a F350 down the street. If thrills are more your thing, then enjoy the newly enhanced carnival areas, brimming with all your favorite rides and treats, plus new attractions. If that wasn’t enough, there will three busker stations featuring mimes, stilt walkers, bubble blowers and other mind-blowing acts sure to delight young and old alike.

Then stop by our Food and Beverage area where old-fashioned soda pop, ice-cold beer or delicious fruit smoothies will wet your whistle while Philly Cheestakes, Island Noodles and Berry Kabobs satisfy your appetite. Wanting some dessert? Funnel cakes, cotton candy and brightly colored sno cones are sure to delight your sweet tooth. Parker Days is sure to tempt your taste buds and pacify your pallet.

Complete with shiny fire trucks, gleaming vintage cars thunderous marching bands, the Parker Days parade is sure to please.

A signature event of the Parker Chamber of Commerce, the festival attracts more and more people to Parker, Colorado each year. With an attendance of more than 100,000 who enjoy carnival rides, attractions, music from live bands, arts and crafts exhibitors, and a local and international selection of food and beverages.

General admission to the festival is free, with carnival passes available for $20 for the day OR the Mega Pass (Four days of carnival craziness!) for $55.
