Well it has finally happened, we get a chance to see Tim Tebow lead the Denver Broncos at QB today against the Miami Dolphins. This is the start of the Tim Tebow era, will it last for 1 game, 4 games, the rest of the season or many seasons to come?

It’s Tebow Time!

Tim Tebow is a great athlete and if he has a chance to play every down and every game, he will become more comfortable and make better decisions with the ball. I believe John Fox will run a basic offense and we will see a mix of McGahee, Moreno and Tebow running the ball with short passes and screens mixed in, but I also believe there will be a chance for a big play or two after all, we are playing an 0-4 team in the Dolphins.

The other big question is, will the defense show up to play, are they for real or are there too many injuries to overcome?

Everyone will be watching the game today, anticipating that Tebow will do some awesome, incredible plays but also make some rookie mistakes. I hope he does not have to be the runner all the time and open himself for taking a beating and possibly getting injured, but none the less it will be an exciting game, win or lose.

Good luck to Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos today, early games that are away have not been good for them but with the new era and new intensity, who knows…?

GO BRONCOS!!!!

The 2011-2012 Bronco season is about to begin.

The season starts Thursday night with the Denver Broncos traveling to Dallas to take on the Cowboys. This will be our first chance to see the new look Broncos, so many changes from the Head coach down to the players. I am excited to see the John Fox led Broncos and who will start at running back and QB?

So many questions..how will Elvis Dummerville come back from his pectoral muscle injury that sidelined him last season? Can Knowshon Moreno be effective after slimming down, will he be durable enough to handle the hits? What kind of impact will rookie line backer Von Miller make? How will the Broncos do in the 4-3 defense? And will Kyle Orton be the starting Quarterback?

I am glad there will be Football, after all that has happened. I can’t wait to see how the Broncos do under new head coach John Fox.

The Bronco season is beginning and I am Excited!!

I was a little surprised when the Broncos took a running back as their first pick in the draft, I thought they would go more for Linebackers and Defensive front three. I think the biggest surprises to me were Alphanso Smith a CB and S Darcel McBath. The broncos seem to address the defensive backfield in the off season, with the addition of Brian Hawkins( I think this is awesome addition, his intensity and love for the game are second to none) and CB Andre’ Goodman from the Dolphins.

You just never know what is going to happen on draft day. Hopefully they did enough in the draft and free agency to fill the holes.

What are your thoughts on draft day for the Broncos, let me know!

Here is the official 2009 draft list

Round 1, Pick 12 (12) – RB Knowshon Moreno, Georgia
Round 1, Pick 18 (18) (From Chicago) – DE/LB Robert Ayers, Tennessee
Round 2, Pick 5 (37) (From Seattle) – CB Alphonso Smith, Wake Forest
Round 2, Pick 16 (48) – S Darcel McBath, Texas Tech
Round 2, Pick 32 (64) (From Pittsburgh) – TE Richard Quinn, North Carolina
Round 4, Pick 14 (114) – S David Bruton, Notre Dame
Round 4, Pick 32 (132) (From Pittsburgh) – G Seth Olsen, Iowa
Round 5, Pick 5 (141) (From CLE through PHI, NE and BAL) – WR Kenny McKinley, South Carolina
Round 6, Pick 1 (174) – QB Tom Brandstater, Fresno State
