10 films, 10 weekends for 2010

Starting June 8th and ending August 11th, Each week this summer a classic film and a classic band will be at Red Rocks Amphitheater for only $10 a ticket and parking is FREE.  Local comedians host the event and they have had sell outs so interested parties are advised to sign up now so you aren’t disappointed.

“Film on the Rocks has become a signature summer event” said Britta Erickson, Festival Director for the Denver Film Society.   “Hanging out with friends and watching great films under the moonlit sky is what the Film on the Rocks experience is all about.”

The Summer Brewfest includes craft beverages from both Colorado Breweries and from across the US along with live local music, food, and other vendors and is a benefit to the  Swallow Hill Music Association.

Swallow Hill serves a large community with instruction and performance of musical art forms such as folk, blues, bluegrass, Celtic jazz, world, roots, and dance.

VIP First taste limited tickets for $40 advance/$45 at the door, 6-7

General admission 7-10 p.m. $30/advance $35 at the door

This is an unfiltered American style Wheat beer. It is a lively, refreshing ale with a naturally citrusy flavor and distinctive cloudy appearance.

Flash Ale Denver Micro Brewery FLASHBACK ANNIVERSARY ALE-An indian brown ale from Boulder Brewery, this beer is citrusy with a clean finish. The biscut and chocolate malts add dark roasted flavors.

 

 

MONKSHINE
Monkshine is a Belgian style that packs a wollop at 6.8%. From the Uinta brewery, this ale is spicy with clove, vanilla and banana flavors.
